DIY Flower Wreath

So, I don’t know about you, but I have an obsession with wreaths. The one thing I was so excited about when we moved into our new house was the fact that I could put a different wreath up for each holiday. Lame, I know.

So, if you are anything like me, you realize that wreaths are really expensive! I mean come on, $59 for a wreath that it just going to hang on the door and I don’t even get to enjoy it, everyone who drives by or comes to the door does. Now, I make all of my own wreaths and I get so many more compliments about them, and they are usually half the price.

Materials Needed:

  • Flower garland
  • Foam wreath circle
  • Hot glue
  • Hot glue gun
  • Tulle
  • Wreath hanger

Start by taking the foam circle and wrapping the tulle around it and only gluing down the pieces every so often just to ensure it stays in place.

Once that is done, it should look a little something like this.

Then, I cut the garland into 3-4 smaller stands because it made easier to wrap the garland around and pull it through the center of the circle.

Should start to look something like this.

Continue to wrap the flowers around and make sure you glue it down every so often so it doesn’t unravel.

This is my end product!
